The October 7th massacre has had a profound impact on the Israeli nation, and a disproportionate effect on the youth and young adults of the Gaza Envelope.
We know the future of this area rests with the younger generation.
So here at Nitzanei Ofir, we a recommitted to empowering our young adults through personal, professional and community development to rebuild the region stronger than ever before.
Nitzanei Ofir was created in memory of Ofir and Nitzan Liebstein, father and son, whose lives were taken on October 7th in Kfar Aza.
Ofir, head of the Sha'ar HaNegev, Regional Council and a visionary entrepreneur, dedicated his life to the development of the Gaza envelope.
Nitzan, 19, was just beginning his young adult life. We are committed to helping fulfill Ofir and Nitzan’s dreams.

Our work
We offer grants to young adults, from the Gaza Envelope area, ages 20-30.
All funds are earmarked for academic studies, professional development, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
As part of the grant requirements, participants volunteer in the Gaza Envelope community to help revitalize the region, and promote a deep connection to the area.
